2 Easy Homemade Mojito Recipes

Summers are time for having Mojitos.

 

These drinks are really costly when you buy from outside and  one is sometimes  unsure about the hygiene part of it. At home, they can be prepared very easily and are cost effective. Sipping them not only satiates thirst for a longer time but also gives relief from that drained out feeling one feels all the time due to excessive sweating.

I have prepared 2 Mojito at home and am sharing the recipe!!

Mango Mint Mojito

Ingredients ( for 1 glass)

  • 6-8 mint leaves
  • 1 sliced lemon
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon bhuna jeera powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1/2 cup Mango pulp
  • Crushed Ice
  • Soda water

Method:

  • In a tall glass, add mint leaves, few lemon slices, all spices and with a spoon press and muddle them.
  • Add mango pulp and mix all this well. Let it settle for a minute. Then add lots of crushed Ice.
  • Top it with soda water and serve chilled.

Lemon Mint Mojito

Ingredients ( for 1 glass)

  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Crushed Ice
  • Soda water

Method:

  • In a tall glass, add mint leaves, few lemon slices, all spices and with a spoon press and muddle them.
  • Add lemon juice, honey and mix all this well. Let it settle for a minute. Then add lots of crushed Ice.
  • Top it with soda water and serve chilled.
