2 Interesting Peach Recipes


Peach has amazing health benefits. This summer fruit is not only rich in vitamins and minerals, but also is high in fibre and antioxidants. It is good for heart health, vision and skin improvement, fights cancer and is good for baby growth during pregnancy.

I have tried making two drinks (one milk based and one water based ice tea)


For both drinks, one needs to make peach pulp.


Peach pulp


  1. Wash the peaches thoroughly and chop them finely
  2. In a pan, add 5-6 chopped peaches, 2 tbsp sugar and half cup water and allow it to reduce on simmer.
  3. Once they become soft, churn to make pulp


You can store this pulp in the refrigerator and use whenever required.

Here’s the recipe for Peach, Apple and Mango Smoothie



3/4 glass milk
4 tbsp peach pulp
1/2 apple, peeled and chopped
1/2 mango, peeled and chopped
1 tbsp rolled oats
1 tbsp honey
Crushed Ice


In a blender, add all these ingredients and blend well for 2-3 minutes.


Your healthy and wholesome drink is ready!



You can add banana and icecream, if you like.

My second recipe is Peach Ice Tea 

This is my husband's favourite summer cooler. If you’re feeling dehydrated, you must try this.


1/4 glass water
4-5 tbsp peach pulp
1 tbsp honey
Juice of 1 lemon
Few lemon slices
Mint leaves
Tea liquor


1- For tea liquor, boil about 2 cups water, add 1 tsp tea leaves to it and turn off the gas. When a golden color liquor is achieved, strain it and let it cool.


(Note: Don't overcook otherwise it  will taste bitter) 

2- In a tall glass, add few mint leaves and lemon juice. Muddle it a bit with a spoon. T


3- Add few lemon slices. tea liquor, peach pulp, honey and mix well.


4- Now,  add crushed Ice and  top it with water.

Serve this ice tea chilled.
