Waking up everyday to some news related to girl child or girls and  now a days they don’t even spare old women. Being a mom to a girl, it scares the hell out of me and makes me feel suspicious towards everybody..There are some safety measure that I have in mind, sharing them with you all and would love to hear your ideas too:

1. Only leave your child with the ones you can actually trust 100%, if you have even 5% doubt then rethink.

2. Make sure to install CCTV cameras, if you leave your baby alone with househelp or anybody else.

3. Check school’s security system thoroughly before enrolling them.

4. Teach them not to trust anyone, literally no one until and unless you have introduced that person to them.

5. Decide a passcode every time you drop them and if someone else is picking them up make sure they know the passcode else they should wait for you.

6. Leave your mobile number or your card in their bag everytime you send them somewhere.

7. As soon as they are old enough to get into sports, try to enroll them into learn self defence activities.

8. Teach them about good and bad touch as early as possible and let them know that even  close family members are not allowed to touch those areas.

9. Make sure you don’t tag your locations in advance or while you are there with the baby, tag the location after you have left the place in your city.

10. Never reveal their school’s name publicly, even if you want to post their pic try to blur out the school name.

It’s not like we should stop them from living freely but we should take as many precautions as possible.

I would love to know your ideas of safety
