Exercising after delivery? Wait, read these tips.

 

Every new mum wants to know how to lose postpartum fat. Losing all that  weight post delivery is possible but needs dedication and patience. It also needs to be accompanied by the right diet and lifestyle. If you’re looking to become fit after delivery, here are few tips on how to start exercising postpartum:

 

  • Don’t be harsh on yourself, let your body take its time to recover and start only when your doctor gives a green signal
  • Start with 10 mins exercise per day and keep on increasing it gradually
  • Try to do your exercises under expert guidance for correct posture, otherwise you may end up hurting yourself
  • Avoid lifting weights for sometime and rather go for floor exercises that you are comfortable with
  • Don’t cut down on your meals till at least 6 months after delivery..
  • Some people take more time than others, don’t get disheartened and don’t give up.
  • Try to include your baby in your exercises for double fun
  • Drink lots and lots of water and if possible, drink warm water to  cut down fats

 

Stay healthy, be steady and get fit!
