After 12 years in Human Resources, I never imagined in the wildest of my dreams thai I would be an entrepreneur. The idea just cropped up in my head while I was in between jobs and was on a trip to my hometown Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The inspiration solely came from the thought of promoting hand knit and crochet merchandise.
As a Himachali I have grown up wearing handmade sweaters knitted by mom and relatives. I realized that this art of knitting and crochet was slowly diminishing as people had no time to knit and they always wanted something fancy for their kids. Then, no one’s advise mattered, I precisely knew what I was setting myself for. I was raring to go. The rebel in me was there to answer all the questions but no one could dampen my spirit and idea both.

Who Inspired me the Most

It’s a demanding schedule when both you and husband are working, especially when it’s a nuclear family. We take turns to spend time with our son. There is always one parent at home while the other is travelling. It requires lot of adjustments and my son has adjusted and adapted pretty well to this arrangement.
