When it comes to our skin, being cautious is always in our best interests. We must try and limit the artificial, chemical ridden products to a minimum usage. But we still want that flawless complexion, free of any impurities that cause blackheads, acne and suntan, don’t we? The answer to this lies in the realms of Ayurveda. Ayurveda, a term not new to us Indians in particular, is considered one of the most effective, safe and natural treatments to skin care related problems. It is said that this is so because Ayurveda aims to tackle the root cause of the problems instead of offering circumstantial treatments. So let’s take a look at some of these ayurvedic cures which would help you achieve beautiful, glowing skin.

According to Ayurveda, every skin is classified into three types- Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Ayurveda believes one should alter one’s skin care routine based on their skin type.

1. Multani Mitthi

Multani Mitthi, also known as fuller’s earth has been used as an age old skin care remedy in India. However, the effectiveness of this ingredient is proof enough as to why it serves as an ideal element in your skincare routine even today. Multani mitthi can be used to cleanse the skin of excess oil and dirt. This ingredient helps fight acne, even out the skin tone and get rid of tan and pigmentation which helps you achieve that glowing skin you desire. Multani mitthi can be mixed with any of the above ingredients to enhance its effectiveness.

Include this ingredient as a part of your skin care routine to cleanse your skin of any acne causing bacteria.
