  • Blood Volume - Your heart has to pump more blood to keep you safe during pregnancy.
  • Increased rate - During pregnancy, your heart beats 25% faster than the usual days.
  • Weight gain - As your weight increases during pregnancy, the heart needs extra efforts to pump oxygen for you.

How TO Deal With Heart Palpitations?

Heart palpitations can happen even when you’re resting or staying active that may cause you to worry. However, you’ll be less worried about heart palpitations when you know how to deal with them.

  • Stop what you were doing.
  • Drink a glass of water.
  • Sit down and rest if you were indulged in any physical activity.
  • Limit caffeine intake.
  • Have snacks in between meals to prevent low blood sugar levels.
