Ltd and it is an OTC, or over-the-counter drug that treats symptoms of gas, the feeling of fullness which causes pressure and also bloating. It may also be used as a treatment for other symptoms by the physicians. The drug comes in various brand names, including Alka-Seltzer Anti Gas, Colic Acid Drops, Colicon, Degas, Flatulex Drops, Gas Aide, Gas-X, Genasyme, Maalox Anti-Gas, Major-Con, Micon-80, Mylanta Gas, Mylaval, Mylicon, Mytab Gas, Phazyme, and SonoRx.

Precautions

The following must be kept in mind before using ColicAid drops:

1. If one is pregnant or planning to be pregnant or is breastfeeding an infant.

2. If one is under any prescripted or non prescripted medicine or is under any herbal or dietary supplements.

3. If one is allergic to medicines, foods and dietary substances.

Side effects

ColicAid drops do not cause any such reported side effects but any discomfort felt by the patient should be reported to the physician right away.

Dosage

Simethicone is taken orally as a tablet, chewable tablet, capsule, or in liquid form. The most recommended adult dosages of simethicone usually ranges from 40 milligrams (mg) to 125 mg, taken four times a day.

Until and unless one should not take more than six simethicone tablets in one single day unless advised by the physician
