1. Oatmeal Face Mask

Oatmeal is a natural exfoliant that can help remove dead skin cells and improve skin texture. To make an oatmeal face mask, simply mix one tablespoon of oatmeal with one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of plain yoghurt.

Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing off with warm water. This face mask is gentle enough to use once or twice a week and can help brighten your complexion.

2. Cucumber Eye Pads

Dark circles and puffiness around the eyes are very common during pregnancy. Using cucumber eye pads helps to soothe the eyes and also helps get rid of dark circles.

To make them, cut two slices of cucumber and place them in the fridge for 10-15 minutes. Then, place the slices on your closed eyes and relax for 10-15 minutes. The coolness of the cucumber can reduce swelling and soothe tired eyes.

You can even try The Moms Co Natural Vita Rich Undereye Cream, which is an equally natural way to get rid of dark circles during pregnancy. It is made of hydrating ingredients like Chia Seed Oil and Hyaluronic Acid. It helps reduce dark circles, fine lines and puffiness around the under-eye area, while also being easy to use as it comes with a soothing roller that is designed to give a gentle massage to your under-eye area,

3. Coconut Oil Body Scrub

A body scrub can help exfoliate and soften skin all over your body. To make a coconut oil body scrub, simply mix 1/2 cup of coconut oil with 1/2 cup of brown sugar and a few drops of your favourite essential oil.

Rub the mixture onto your skin in circular motions and rinse off with warm water. Your skin will feel soft and smooth.

4. Avocado Hair Mask

During pregnancy, hormonal changes can lead to dry and brittle hair. An avocado hair mask can help moisturize and nourish your hair. To make the mask, mash one ripe avocado and mix it with one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of coconut oil. Apply the mixture to your hair, cover it with a shower cap, and leave it on for 30 minutes before washing it out with shampoo. Your hair will feel soft, shiny, and healthy.

5. Green Tea Toner

Green tea is a powerful antioxidant that can help protect your skin from damage. No wonder many good natural skincare products like The Moms Co Natural Gree Tea Face Wash include green tea in their ingredients for skin care.

You can make a green tea toner at home. All you need to do is brew a cup of green tea and let it cool. Then, mix 1/4 cup of green tea with 1/4 cup of witch hazel and a few drops of lavender essential oil. Apply the toner to your face with a cotton ball after cleansing to help soothe and balance your skin.

6. Honey Lip Balm

During pregnancy, your lips can become dry and chapped. A honey lip balm can help moisturize and protect your lips. To make the balm, mix one tablespoon of honey with one tablespoon of coconut oil and a few drops of peppermint essential oil.

Transfer the mixture to a small container and apply it to your lips whenever they feel dry.

7. Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera is a natural remedy for sunburns, cuts, and other skin irritations. During pregnancy, it can also help soothe dry and itchy skin.

Simply cut a leaf from an aloe vera plant and squeeze out the gel. Apply the gel to your skin and let it absorb. You can also store the gel in the fridge for a cooling effect. If you don’t have fresh aloe vera gel at home, you could also try The Moms Co Natural Aloe Vera Gel which is completely natural and contains no chemicals plus also has natural Vitamin E in it.
