One of the most common problems women face is a backache. Whether you’re a working woman or a homemaker – backache can be persistent and never-ending throughout the day. It’s hard to get rid of back pain completely but there are a few things you can do right in the comfort of your home to reduce it within a few minutes.

1. Sesame and Mustard Oil

Take a couple tablespoons of sesame and mustard oil and heat it up until it’s warm but not piping hot. Apply this oil onto your backs and massage it slowly. Take your husband’s help or you can do it yourself too by focusing on certain points. After about 30 minutes, take a hot bath and you will feel your back pain reduced drastically.

2. Coconut oil and Camphor

Take some coconut oil in a bowl and mix in camphor until it dissolves completely. Heat it up and allow it to cool it down. You can store this in a container for a few days and use it whenever you feel discomfort in your back. Apply this all over the skin and massage it well until you feel some relief.

3. Ginger juice and turmeric

This is a remedy you need to drink rather apply on the affected area. Take half a glass of ginger juice and add a pinch of turmeric to it and consume it when you feel your back ache. Doing this on a regular basis is known to keep the backache at bay.

4. Rice

Take a handful of rice and place it in a cloth. Tie it into a tight knot and warm it up in an oven or a bowl of water on the stove. Once it’s warm enough, place it on your back and use it in a similar fashion that you would use a hot compress in. This is known to reduce backache by a significant amount.

5. Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus oil is anti-inflammatory and analgesic in nature. Hence you can use a little amount of it to rub all over your lower back area. You can also add a few drops of eucalyptus oil in the bathtub or the bucket or hot water and enjoy a nice, relaxing bath.

6. Ginger and honey

Add a few pieces of ginger shreds to two cups of water and boil it. Once it’s boiled, strain the water and add honey to it. Drinking this will help relieve you of your back pain and you can even use the leftover ginger pieces to massage your back. This is great for people who experience backache almost everyday.
