Tell us something about yourself

I am a Kindergarten teacher and a part-time mum influencer. I have a three-year-old daughter, named Aarna. Ever since I became a mother, my daughter has been my priority.

Every woman has her own distinct pregnancy journey. How was yours?

My pregnancy journey was a mixed bag of emotions. At week 6, I experienced morning sickness and felt extremely tired.

After the first trimester, my symptoms subsided. Around week 18, my baby bump began to appear and I gained 52 kg. I literally swelled and looked completely different.

Amidst these, I also experienced heartburn and I felt like there was a volcanic eruption within my body.

It was 2 March 2019 around 3:00 am when my water broke and I was admitted to the hospital. In the evening, I gave birth to my daughter.

How have you been balancing work after becoming a mum?

It was indeed difficult for me to balance work after I became a mother. But I am really thankful to the Almighty for having such a supportive family.

Whenever I am not at home, my mum and grand-mum take care of my baby.

How do you manage ‘me-time’ after taking care of your little one?

After giving birth, personal choices take a back seat and it becomes difficult to manage ‘me-time’.

I consider myself lucky for having a supportive husband. I never miss a chance to pamper myself during the weekends when my daughter is sleeping or playing with her father.

How has your journey been with BabyChakra as an Insider Club mum?

BabyChakra has provided a great platform wherein mums get the opportunity to voice their opinions in curating a product.

I joined the Insider Club a year ago and it feels great that my suggestion is kept in mind while making the product. I am actually helping to co-create products for babies.

What according to you makes BabyChakra the best mum’s group?

BabyChakra is the best mum’s group as the team answers all our questions related to baby care. Plus, BabyChakra pampers their Insider Club mums and they meet all their expectations.

What do you think makes BabyChakra the one-stop destination for your baby’s personal products?

Every mum wants the best for their child and I am also one of them. I was looking for products for my daughter that have been formulated with natural ingredients. BabyChakra has been doing it right!

What’s your ideal parenting style?

Raising kids is indeed one of the most difficult tasks in the world. Parenting today needs patience and effort. Parents should spend quality time with their kids.

Kids should be allowed to express themselves. This in turn makes them more confident, boosts creativity, and builds problem-solving skills.

In a recent interview, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu shared their views on equal parenting. What are your views on equal parenting?

I completely agree with them. Equal parenting makes the journey more rewarding.

A father should also take care of the child. This in turn can help build gender-equality opinions in the child at a young age.
