“We are constantly innovating and creating products that simplify lives.”

Vani Talwar Khosla is a seasoned entrepreneur and the Co-founder of TidyUp—which is dedicated to providing sustainable solutions for organising and preserving high-end and treasured belongings while maintaining their intrinsic value.

Positioned as one of India’s eco-forward brands, the inception of TidyUp was inspired by a personal necessity—when Vani, a fashion enthusiast herself, struggled to maintain her luxury and leather bags. She also realised that she was not alone in this predicament—a lot of her friends and family encountered similar issues.

So Vani joined hands with her friend Paridhi Sekhri, and they came up with their solution, leading to the birth of TidyUp in 2021. Speaking about her vision, Vani shared, “We wanted to create products that inspire people to adopt a more conscientious approach.”

TidyUp specialises in organising and storage solutions designed to meticulously stow away bags and shoes, shielding them from moisture, mildew, and scratches. Based in Delhi, the brand is committed to fostering sustainable consumption practices by empowering individuals to extend the lifespan of their personal belongings, advocating for longevity over constant purchasing.

Initially bootstrapped, TidyUp has garnered substantial recognition from notable celebrities and influencers including Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Mira Kapoor, and Massom Minawala Mehta.

Vani was also recently awarded the ‘Best Entrepreneur Award’ in the Fashion and Lifestyle Category by Business Disrupt. Talking about her journey, Vani shared in an interview with WomensWeb, “I have always been an entrepreneur by nature and spotted a gap for a premium grooming concept in India, which led me to start The Powder Room Delhi, a mobile hair and makeup service. Similarly, I realised the need to ensure that everyone has products that add value and longevity to the things people value.”

A doting mom to a tween, Vani enjoys both her roles and skillfully maintains a balance between the two. Speaking to WomensWeb about how she and her husband practice #EqualParenting, Vani shared, “Even though we have different careers, my husband and I have always been a team, taking turns carrying the baton when one is overwhelmed.”
