Dr. Atul T Ursekar is an experienced Ophthalmologist based in Mumbai. He set up his private practice in October 1991 and can currently be consulted at Ursekar Laser and Microsurgery Eye Clinic, located at Charni Road. In addition, he is attached to Jaslok Hospital and Masina Hospital. Dr. Ursekar's qualifications include an MBBS and an MS in Ophthalmology. He also has the DOMS and DNB (Ophthalmology) titles to his credit. In addition he has completed two fellowships (Vitreo-Retina and Retina) at Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai and at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York. After his MBBS, Dr. Ursekar was resident at the KEM Hospital from February 1986 to January 1990, during which period he received his postgraduate qualifications and also cleared the FCPS (Ophthalmology) exam of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai. An outstanding student, Dr. Ursekar regularly picked up awards, distinctions and prizes for his academic excellence.
