Dr Mohini Vachhani is an experienced Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with over 30 years of experience, including 17 years in the UK.

She is also an accredited Colposcopist and has received awards from the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). She is also a BSCCP Accredited Colposcopy Lead Trainer.

She has successfully set up a Cervical Screening and Colposcopy Centre in K B Bhabha Municipal General Hospital, Mumbai, as part of voluntary work in 2005-2006, taking a year out from her services while she was working in UK. Having carried out screenings on more than 1000 women so far, she has prevented about 150 cervical cancers. She has further conducted four Colposcopy Training Workshops as part of charity. 220 Gynaecologists attended and fifty of them have implemented changes in their practice of Colposcopy.
