Chrysalis Kids is a playschool and nursery for children.

1. Playschool: As this is the child’s first step out into the world, we strive to make this difficult transition as smooth as possible for the child. The Curriculum guides the child through new social groups of the classroom and school community by creating a Social Values theme. We also incorporate independent daily life skills which help a child become more confident of handling himself or herself in a new environment.

Play school prepares the children for schooling by developing their pre learning skills in reading, writing and numeracy.

2. Nursery: The first step of formal learning begins in Nursery. The writing and reading of uppercase letters is taught across the year at a gradual pace. The number 1 – 10 are also taught with emphasis on learning to count.

The monthly themes are explored in greater detail and children have audio visual interactive sessions to discuss the new topic. These sessions are made alive with interlinked crafts, finger play and rhymes.

The children learn the concept of opposites, shapes, colours and take their first steps into science with hands on experiments.
