Tlc is a Montessori Preschool for children.

Our Programs:

1. Adventurers: Our Adventurer Program is designed for 1 – 2 year old children. With adventurers, we focus on the development of basic trust while supporting their emerging sense of self. Independence and order are encouraged, and self-confidence is enhanced through social and learning experiences. Basic language, Music, movement, food preparation, snack, toilet-training and outdoor play are all part of the daily routine for adventurers at TLC.

As soon as a child learns the basic skills required as an adventurer, we promote the child to the Discoverers program, which is designed for 2 – 3 year old children. Discoverers are introduced to age appropriate Montessori materials and they are invited to make choices from a variety of activities designed to support their growth and needs

2. Rangers: This Program focuses on getting ready for Class 1 in a traditional classroom by providing a learning environment in which all the children can be happy, contented and safe. They are motivated and able to flourish and achieve their full potential as well as feel a sense of fulfillment. The aim is to give all the children the confidence and enthusiasm to become life-long learners with an appreciation of, and respect for others.

3. Our Curriculum: Practical Life, Language, Sensorial, Mathematics, Cultural Studies, Unit's of Inquiry, Extra Curricular Activities, Geography, Art and Craft, Cooking, Science

4. Daycare: We offer day care for children from the age of 2 to 12 years of age. At TLC’s care programme children learn how to work and play together, sharing experiences with other children. We seek to provide a caring ‘home away from home’ where they feel a part of a large family.

We encourage and support children in developing their leadership skills and showing individual initiative.

Children have a nap or rest time followed by curriculum, snack and outdoor play time. Older children also get support with their homework and studies.
