How to get rid of your stretch marks



Caused by varying conditions of sudden gain or loss of weight, hormonal changes, puberty, pregnancy and attempt at muscle building; stretch marks as suggested by its name involve stretching, pulling and tearing of the skin's middle layer or 'dermis'. On account of the above mentioned factors different kinds and textures of marks appear on skin. Absence of 'collagen' fiber also aids the formation of stretch marks. Generally affecting areas with susceptibility to store excess fat, stretch marks which initially manifest in reddish or purple hues, gradually fade out with time. Thus such marks tend to affect regions around abdomen, breasts, thighs, and upper arms.

Potato juice

Rub potato juice on to the stretch mark as it contains vitamins and minerals for restoration of depleted skins.

Sugar

Rub sugar mixed with water on your stretch marks as sugar helps to exfoliate dead cells

Aloe Vera and vitamin mixture

Mix one fourth cup of aloe Vera with 10 capsules of vitamin Eand 5 capsule of vitamin A

Water

Keep your body well hydrated as it can detoxify the skin which helps in a great deal of the disappearing of stretch marks.

Lemon Juice

Apply lemon juice on to your skin which has stretch mark let it dry for about 10 minutes and then wash it off. Another method is to mix the lemon juice with cucumber juice and apply on to the area with stretch mark.

Olive oil

Olive oil contains lots of anti oxidants and it can help in a great deal in getting rid of stretch marks

Cocoa Butter

Apply cocoa butter on to your skin twice a day and in a few months stretch marks will be less visible.

Castor Oil

Castor oil, which is used in the treatment of a number of skin problems such as wrinkles, age spots, moles, dark spots, fine lines and pimples, can also be used to quickly get rid of stretch marks.

Apply some castor oil to the stretch marks and gently massage the area in circular motions for at least 15 minutes.

Wrap the area with a thin, cotton cloth. Using a hot water bottle or a heating pad, apply some heat to the affected area for at least a half an hour.

Repeat this process daily for a minimum of one month to notice positive results

Egg Whites

Egg whites are rich source of protein and amino acids. Beat the egg white with a fork and apply on to your skin. Wash it off after 10 min and then apply olive oil to keep the skin moisturized.

Alfalfa

Alfalfa leaves contain eight essential amino acids which are good for overall health of the skin. They are also rich in protein and vitamins E and K, which help in restoring and increasing body tone. The anti-fungal agent present in alfalfa leaves alkalizes and detoxifies the skin, which helps minimize scars including stretch marks. Mix Alfalfa with chamomile oil and apply on to the affected area do this regularly for one week and you can see the results.
