Thankyou mommies for all the excitement showed in my previous post 🤗, Remove the small flowers and rub it with your palms the buds will open, Remove the small transparent part and the one with the bud. It gives sour taste hence it has to be removed. As you keep opening the red flower the buds will become small so no need to remove anything. Keep a pot of water mixed with curd or butter milk and put the cleaned flowers if not the flowers may become dark . Let's go with the receipe now.
Banana Flower - 1
Channa dal -1 cup
Red chillies - As per your choice, I added 4 as Atarah eats this Vada
Saunf -1 tsp
Oil to fry
Soak channa dal , red chilli and saunf for 30 mins, Grind coarsely by adding very little water or no water. Clean the Banana flower and cut into medium size pieces. Cook the Banana flower by adding very little water and salt for 5 mins, Let it cool and squeeze and remove the water. Now mix everything together with salt, Heat oil and deep fry the vadas. Trust me one of the tastiest vada is Banana flower vada and healthy as well.

I have put step wise pics and the vada should be small not this big, Atarah was super cranky that day and did not let me fry. So in a hurry I made big vadas.
