Raagi mudde


Raagi mudde is a staple food in the regions of Rayalaseema( Andhra Pradesh) and Karnataka.

This can be offered to kids (2 yrs ) to any age adults. The recipe is very easy and tasty. Which can be cooked in just 20 min. .


🍵 Raagi flour / Finger Millet powder - 1 1/4 cup

🍵 Water - 2 cups

🍵 Salt - pinch

🍵 Ghee - 1 tbsp


Method :

🍵 Boil 2 cups water, add ghee and salt.

🍵 Dilute 2 tsp ragi flour in 1/4th cup water and mix well without lumps. Add it in the boiling water.

🍵 Once it starts bubbling add the remaining flour slowly and mix well without lumps. Switch off and transfer to the plate.

🍵 Apply ghee to hands and make rounds and serve how with peanut chutney or Pulusu.

Serves: 2 people
