Carrot Kheer

Carrot Kheer is one of my fav dessert of all time. It can be prepared in just 15 min. This is the first recipe comes in my mind, when there is a guest in my home. It has loaded with nutrients and natural sugars.

Ingredients:

🍵 Milk - 2 cups

🍵 Grated carrot - 1 cup

🍵 Sugar - 2 tsp

🍵 Ghee- 1 tsp

🍵 Dry fruits & nuts - 2 tsp

Recipe :

🍵 Take a saucing pan and add ghee. Once it melts add cashews, almonds, pistachio, raisins and keep aside. In the same pan add grated carrot and shallow fry till the raw smell goes off. Keep aside.

🍵 in the same pan, add milk. Once it comes to boiling point add sauteed carry and boil for 3-4 min till the carrot turns soft. Now add sugar and saute for 2 min. Switch off the flame and garnish with related nuts and raisins.

You can add dates powder/honey/jaggery powder / brown sugar instead of sugar. Adjust the sugar levels as per the carrot sweetness.

Avoid artificial sweeteners for kids under 2 years old.
