Anxiety isn't just nervousness; it is a disorder with numerous physical symptoms that can affect nearly every part of your body. The Skin, hair and body weight are direct indicators of anxiety.

Hair: hair loss isn't a "common" anxiety problem; however hair loss is a very real problem and the source of that hair loss is stress. Anxiety and stress are very similar conditions, and anxiety itself is essentially long term stress. Get enough sleep, eat nutritious food which includes proteins, increase B vitamins and decrease A vitamins medication, take care of your hair, exercise and stay healthy.

Weight issues: Stress and anxiety are commonly associated with weight gain or weight loss. Anxiety originates in your brain but triggers many physical responses like digestive system symptoms, including nausea, abdominal discomfort and decreased appetite. These and other related symptoms and behaviours can lead to weight issues, especially if you have an anxiety disorder. Treating weight issues isn't necessarily related to anxiety itself. You simply need to make sure you're eating, talk to a doctor to rule out other symptoms, and keep exercising to ensure that you're promoting good health.

Skin issues: Stress can aggravate psoriasis, rosacea, and eczema. It can also cause hives and other types of skin rashes and trigger a flare-up of fever blisters. Stress also makes your skin more sensitive, so things that would not normally cause you to have a skin reaction (sunscreens, lotions, etc.) would create one on your skin. The most important thing for you to do is control your anxiety. Control your anxiety, and the rash will eventually go away. General rash treatments tend to be effective. Keep skin moisturised and clean at all times.
