Tomato Pickle ( Homemade in restaurant style )

Ingredients :-

Tomatoes – 1/4 Kilo

Tamarind – For Taste Taste

Urad Dal – 1/2 spoon

Green Chilies -3 Small

Chopped Ginger – 1/2 Inch

Methi Seeds – 2-3

Garlic – 4-6 Cloves

Black Pepper – 4/5 Seeds

Asafoetida / Hing – Pinch

Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp

Curry Leaves

Salt – Pinch & Oil – 1/2 Cup


Recipe :-

1. Heat 1/2 tbsp Oil & Add Urad Dal & Saute It Until The Urad Dal turns golden brown and aromatic.

2. Now Add Green Chilies, Ginger,Methi Seeds, Garlic, Pepper, Hing & Saute till the spices turn aromatic.

3. Then Add Tomatoes & Salt. Give a good mix. Cook Till The Tomatoes Soften (6-8 min) On Low Flame.

4. Switch off and add tamarind. Once the stuff gets cooled down grind into a paste.

6. In Same Pan Heat 1/2tbsp Oil, Add Mustard Seeds,Jeera once They Crackle, Add Curry Leaves.

7. Now Add Tomato Paste & Saute For 3-4 Min & Serve.

You Can Use This Chutney For Dosa,Idli,Puri,Chapathi, Pongal & Rice

& You Can Store This For 7-10 days in ye that refrigerator.
