As they consume more and more textures and flavours, finger foods will feed into their nutrition, as well. 1) Boiled peas

Green peas are a great source of vitamins, minerals, and fibre. Peas have found to be rich in vitamin A, B1, B6, K, and vitamin C. Peas are also rich in minerals such as magnesium, potassium, iron, and phosphorus. Also rich in fibre, proteins, carbohydrates, niacin, and folates; peas is a recommended dietary option for babies. Introduce after 7 months

Recipe :

1)Boil peas with little salt and strain it.

2)Add butter and serve in a luke warn hot

U can also mash or grind the boiled peas and add it with idli or dosa batter and prepare Green peas idli or dosa.

2)Boiled potato:

Healthy Weight gaining food for babies and growing kids as potatoes are rich in carbohydrates and dietary fiber.

Phosphorus present in potatoes contribute to build bone development.

Choline content in potatoes helps with Sleep, learning and memory.

Rich in Vitamin C that encourages healthy glowing skin.

Recipe :

1) Peel a small potato and cut it into small cubes

2)Add pinches of salt in water and boil the potatoes and strain the water.

You can give this as a finger food or smash it and add little butter and give them.

Follow the same process for vegetables like

Brocoli

Carrot

Cauliflower etc
