My daughter Aira used to fall sick at the drop of a hat when she was little . I gave her all sorts of syrups to boost her immunity but nothing helped . Since then I never believed in any immunity boosters or any sort of medication to build her immunity .

I read up a lot and spoke to many nutritionist friends / doctors and then tried the natural way . Here are the few things which I tried with A and has worked for us but pls consult your doctor for any allergies before trying these .

✅OUTDOOR TIME : I started taking A out religiously . Playing outside allows your child an escape from indoor germs and bacteria. The circulated air in closed environments is the main cause of your child getting sick . So get involved in the outdoor play .

✅FIGS AND DATES : I soak one dried fig over night and blend it with one date in the morning . If req, use the dried fig water to blend . It’s super healthy and tastes super yum .

✅RAINBOW VEGGIES : I introduced one veggie at a time to Aira . Started with raw broccoli . She hated it . Tried again but differently : washed , boiled with salt and pepper . She loved it ! Then I kept trying one new vegetable each time : baby corn , squash , asparagus, purple cabbage .

Still there are a few she doesn’t enjoy so try using them in a some sort of gravy so she develops a taste for it . For eg : she doesn’t enjoy zucchini much so I try to add in a pasta or grate zucchini in a vegetable paratha .

✅CURD : I make sure she eats a bowl of curd everyday . It helps get rid of stomach problems and boost digestive immune system .

✅CHAYAWANPRASH : every morning she has to eat a full spoon of chayawanprash . It gives energy and and builds respiratory immunity. Works best for us .
