Vegetable Moong Dal Soup for Babies
Give your little one this nutritious vegetable moong dal soup that has the protein rich moong along with healthy vegetables, making it perfect for winter!
2 tablespoon moong dal, washed and drained
½ cup of chopped or grated vegetables of your choice. ( I have used , carrots, bottle gourd and potato)
Pepper powder to taste
Few drops of lemon juice (optional)
1.Heat water in a sauce pan. Add the moong dal and chopped vegetables to it.
2.Boil or pressure cook until well cooked.
3.Puree either with a hand blender or in a grinder jar. Transfer the puree to a sauce pan (if using blender). Dilute with water.
4.Season with black pepper and give it a boil. Turn off the flame.
5.Add few drops of lemon juice if desired. Serve warm.
