heat a pan and add 1/2 cup sesame seeds in it. the pan should not be too hot but on low heat.
on a low flame roast the sesame seeds.
when the sesame seeds pop and change color to golden brown. on a low flame it takes not more than 2 to 3 minutes.
once it roasted well, remove them and keep aside in a plate. ;in the same pan, add 1/4 cup grated coconut.
stir continuously while roasting the coconut.
roast the coconut till it becomes light golden or golden.;remove and keep aside in the plate with sesame. mix very well. keep aside.
in the same pan take 1/2 cup jaggery powder or grated jaggery.
add little amount of water to make jaggery syrup not more than 2 or 3 spoon.
keep the pan on low flame. keep on stirring the jaggery so that it dissolves quickly.
When it will start bubbling
take 1 tbsp water in a small bowl. drop a bit of jaggery solution in the water. remove it and it should be sticky and form itself into a soft ball. Your jeggary syrup is ready.
switch off the flame and add the roasted mixture of sesame seeds and grated coconut.
mix this mixture with the jaggery solution very well.
wait for some seconds but don't too late and then make the til ladoos.
Before making the ladoos spread some oil in your palms. If mixture is too hot you may also spread water in your palm.
Your ladoos are ready.
You can also add crushed peanuts or peanut powder on it.
You can also add khoya and make til khoya laddoo.
You can store in an airtight jar at room temperature for long time.
