Belly binding provides support to the weakened abdominal muscles and allows them to heal by bringing the muscle edges close to each other.
It provides support to your spine by reducing the strain of the belly sag
How to do it:
Use a cotton saree or a belly binder belt.
Belly bind for a month after delivery
All new moms can belly bind including c-section moms
Belly bind for 10-12 hours in a day. Remove while sleeping.
What not to do:
Don't bind with too much pressure!
Belly binding is for support. It's not a corset!
Too much pressure can cause lifelong acidity or uterus prolapse! So use firm but not excess pressure.
