The COVID-19 pandemic has taught us many important lessons and has changed our priorities in life. It has taught me that health plays a major role in our life, as it is seen that healthy people are able to fight the coronavirus more effectively. Our health is directly linked to the environment and many a times we take it for granted. Alhamdulillah for being in good health during this destructive year of pandemic.
Incorporating small things into our daily routine, such as going for a morning walk or planting a sapling, can make a huge long-term difference in our lives and for our environment. I still remember the day I went out for grocery shopping after 5 long months, I cannot describe that day. I had tears in my eyes, on my way I kept seeing the sky, trees, animals moving freely, birds flying etc Allah has blessed us with so much but we never thank Him, we just keep asking and complaining. I learnt a lesson for lifetime, won’t take any blessing for granted. Alhamdulillah for everything!
While we wish 2020 had chosen a more humane mode to help us pause and live, nevertheless, it’s all about what we have in our hands TODAY and at this very moment before it too fades with time..agree?
If you and your family were and are in good health, thank your body, strength, peace of mind and above all thank Allah🌱
P.s : This picture has so many emotions attached, clicked this while my girl and I had a conversation over our garden visits. Literally she used to tell me this every single day, ‘Mumma please take me to garden today’
