I always wondered what does it take for a kid to talk freely to their parents.. even when they grow up. Parents and their children drifting apart with age has always troubled me..

Coming from a background where dinner table discussions are considered sacred, I have grown up believing (and realising) how important are they to foster the bond between parents and children..and how they erase the generation gap issues to such a large extent.

Being a parent now, it's like an utmost priority for me to put that magic into my relationship with my child. Talking to her is not a timepass for me.. it's an activity.. we engage in a conversation and believe me it's so much fun to see how she wants to talk back to me.. even with that extremely scarce vocabulary..

I hope that we always talk to each other, share with each other..
