Recently Angel did lot of cycling and got infected in her thigh area due to sweat and I taught her how important is personal hygiene.
As Everyone needs to keep clean to avoid infection, even kids needs to be taught right from young age. Good personal hygiene will boosts confidence by dealing with problems like bad breath or body odour. Till diapering age we are aware of kids personal hygiene but once the grow to 5 they themselves have to understand and learn good habits especially to private parts cleaning.
For children, the basics of good personal hygiene are:
✌️covering their mouth when they cough
🧖having regular baths or showers
🪥🪥brushing and flossing teeth.
As a parent we need to talk upfront with our kids for personal hygiene.
Most germs are spread through hand contact🤝🤝. Regularly washing hands will prevent your child and others from getting sick and will make them ready for such pandemics in future if they get habituated.
Showering and bathing🧖🧖
Children need regular baths or showers. You could encourage a bath or shower at the end of the day as part of a bedtime routine too.
Make sure your child washes all of their body, their arms and their genital and anal areas, and that their body is thoroughly dry before they wear clothes.
Clothes💃 and 👟 shoes🙌
Children need fresh clothes every day, even if their old clothes don’t smell we should always give them washed clothes only .Clean underwear every day is especially important. They should understand the importance of personal hygiene because they are equally prone to fungal infection and also ask them to open up if they are infected.
