I know most of the parents are struggling with the situation of their kids being addicted to mobile phones and are finding ways to keep their children away from mobile phones and TV.

To be very frank mobile phones and youtube have become a part of our kid's day to day life. The addiction to phones is increasing gradually.

Well, let me share some ways to keep your child away from mobile phones.

1. One of the best practice is - try spending quality time with your child.

2. Encourage outdoor activities like - going for a walk, letting them play in the play area with other kids ( trust me they will spend hours playing together ).

3. Introduce with some indoor engaging activities like - board games, puzzle games, stacking toys and blocks.

4. Arrange play dates with other kids. It's a best therapy for them.

5. Colouring and painting is also one best way to keep them busy for sometime.

6. Play some fun games and have some fun events with your child whenever you get time.

Like - hide and seek, pillow fight, treasure chest. We often go with pillow fighting and doing craft together.

7. Avoid using phones during family time. And if possible turn off the internet if not in use.

8. Try not introducing mobile phones at early age because this can make them addict to it.

9. Try fun learning - this way they will learn, spend quality time with you and will be away from mobile phones.

It's not so hard to keep them away from mobile phones and TV but yes it's not same with everyone. So if you are finding it difficult try limiting the usage and start slowly and gradually. Use parental control apps. Also don't hesitate in taking help from your friends and family.
