Hello mommies and Daddies.... Winter started with really cold waves...It's cold in the mornings and late nights even in Mumbai. As a new parent and a cosmetologist I have decided to post something useful related to these days.

So today's topic is skin related issues occuring in winter.

This topic is most related to the parents of younger children. . .

☑️𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃, 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 -

It's viral infection commonly affected to the children during the season change.

It's very common infection.

⏺️𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐬-

Mainly affecting mucus membrane of mouth resulting in sores.

Reddish rash or boils on hands and foot occurs.

⏺️ 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 -

It can spread by contact like hand shakes or hugs.

By airborne respiratory droplets.

By saliva.

⏺️𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 -

Usually self limiting and self treatable.

⏺️ 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 -

No specific medicine or vaccines. We can palliate the situation by using pain relievers or using numbing mouh sprays.

In some cases we can start mild oral and applicable antibiotics to prevent bacterial invasion.

⏺️ 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 -

To maintain personal hygiene.
