When suffering from hypothyroidism or having an underactive thyroid it’s important to have a balanced diet along with the necessary medications required to manage the condition.



A few of the foods that help boost the effectiveness of the thyroid gland include:





  • Foods rich in omega 3 fatty acids: tuna, salmon, and other fatty fish.
