Finanical Independence & Single Parenthood
Facing life after divource is definetly scary . And that too if you have been completely dependent on your spouse after marraige.
These are some the tips which helped me to be on my feet and head towards financial independence after my divorce
A Strong Mind : Having a Strong mind and being positive about life is the first thing that you should do.
Have a control on your spend :Have a strong control on your spend . Look for sale offers , barhains & ofcource freebies. Cut your extra expenses till you become steady with your income
Make more money : Think of the ways how to make more money. Consider having a business of your own during your free time. Take up extra jobs/ assignments. Dance classes/ Music classes/ Tution classes etz.
Change the job if there is a pay hike and job security.
No more Shopping : No more window shopping trips to shops / malls . Make a strict list before shopping and stick it to it.
Train kids to handle the situation : Try to help them to cut down the extra expenses and tell them the importance of saving money.Teach them how to do it.

Yes kids need to know they cant buy n have everything, even if u have the money.
I cant imagine how u handled; raising a kid n earning money all by urself

@Ujjwal Mishra I shifted to my parents place with my daughter. My daughter was 3 yrs old that time. I think she was too young to unnderstand the sitiuation.
