Apart from breastfeeding, carry small cotton plugs which can be put in the baby's ears. But feeding is important to keep the baby's jaws moving which helps counter air pressure difference. Preferably take an aisle seat so that you can easily move in and out if you need to restroom. Dress the baby in pants which are easy to remove and put on as the space in airline toilets is really less. Also carry antibacterial wipes to clear the surfaces you place your baby on during diaper change or to clean a poop spill etc...
