Kids teach us so many things in our life.
Recently a fellow mom was puzzled as to how we should react when the baby trips over or falls .. as every parent wishes to make their lil ones strong and experience all aspects of life .. but at the same time .. can't see their piece of heart getting hurt .. 💔
.
So here I am sharing what i read somewhere and has worked for me ..
🏃 When my boy falls down.. of course depending on how serious he might be hurt .. if it seems to be a slight tripping over or just a surfacial scratch .. I would ask him "ARE YOU OK?" .
And wait for him to answer .. some times he says .. "I am hurt" .. or he just needs me to kiss or hug him .. or gradually he started; saying "No doesnt hurt" .
.
According to what I read, instead of bluntly saying .. "It's ok, you are fine" , it's; better to ask with empathy .. followed by motivating soothing words like " YOU WILL BE FINE" .. Simply denying that he might be in pain might make him sad. .
Of course I am talking about the young kids.. who find it difficult to express. .
What's your usual reaction in such situations moms?

I completely agree...it may be a small scratch but just giving a loving hug, asking about the well being, treating it a bit is the right way to do it. Just because we need the kid to be strong we cant just ignore their pain. When we get a small cut or burn, don't we feel the pain. If someone cares and asks it reduces and they learn as they grow.
