Today's Breakfast:-
Glass Idli ( using Jackfruit leaves) & Sambar( small onions)...
Glass Idli....
Put one glass udid dal & 21/2 raw rice ( ordinary) into water for four hours. Then first grind udid dal ( wash well) adding water.( little). Transfer this batter into vessel. Then grind raw rice ( wash well) coarsely. Mix; this batter into udid batter. Add salt & mix well. Ferment it overnight. Batter is ready.
How to make glass Idli...
Take a glass. Put three Jackfruit leaves into glass as shown in pic. Pour one level spoon full of batter into it. Heat Idli steamer( add enough water into i). When it boils place this glass with batter into it.Let it steam for twenty minutes. After switch off& remove this glass. Let it cool& remove Jackfruit leaves with Idli.
Sambhar ( shallots)
Wash one glass Tur Dal & pressure cook it for four whistles ( adding enough water) Then clean shallots & cook separately. Put this cooked Dal into Vessel. Add cooked shallots, tomato. Give a nice boil. Then add sambar powder (1 tbs),little Haldi powder, salt. Last give thadka of mustard seeds & curry leaves. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with cone Idli. Enjoyyyy.

Aiswarya Balu here is pics. ..u pin them one by one together n then put in glass n fill with idli better. ..u also make without leaves. .just use in glass. .
