I hate gender based stereotypes, If any one meets any pregnant women they will say May you be Blessed with Boy. I can’t understand why only boy? I always say people to say may you be blessed with Healthy Child.

Gender stereotypes are the worst - girls should cook.

Why should the mother only be expected to change the diaper? (Thank god my hubby is a totally involved parent and has done everything!)

Women are not supposed to talk in front of the crowd when some discussion is going on. And even women should not talk louder. When I hear this,; I even think of slapping them.; Getting irritated.; Women don't even have their right to talk.

Stereotypes based on gender right from birth of a male child being celebrated with fanfare to ladkiwaale and ladkiwaale thing in marriages to how a boys parents and girls parents are not same..etc..

Mrs Chhoker Richa Kaushik Rebecca Prakash Satyam Sharma Roopashree Siddireddy Sonam patel manvi bhandari Mariyum Aaquib Revauthi Rajamani Satarupa B Kaur would love to hear ur views. Pls tag other moms as well.

I belong from a place where gender stereo typing is so much, thank god; my in laws are quite progressive in thinking. otherwise in my community you are not allowed to talk to your brother in laws and father in laws. Infact you have to cover your head also 😜to show respect.

I hate how Indian society stereotypes boy's birth as big thing..big celebration and girl's birth as normal thing with minimal celebration.. I hate how people are ok to live with these stereotypes :)

I hate people saying don't cry like a girl baby to any of the boys for that matter. I just make sure to hit them hard on their head and tell them tears are common for both genders

So much and so many.; Guys can't wear pink is something I always challenge. Girls can't play around with cousins behind a football. Having a guy child is always better.. khandan ka vaaris and all..; thankfully I have broken all of these ever since childhood coz my paternal family is awesomely cool. However, here other than my hubby and dad in law,; the rest are stereotype K bhakt.
Sonam patel Vidya Rathod KritiVika

Caste based stereotypes r the worst.. intercaste marriages, sub castes marriage.. if its liberal for the individual to be what he wants than let him be liberal with the choice of marriage as well
