This one my mom makes and always find it soothing... To boiling water, add 2-3 leaves tulsi, 2 peppercorns and one small piece of ginger. Once the flavors are into the water.. pour into a cup and add some honey (sweetness as per your liking) and drink as warm as you can. It really helps. Take care!

Steaming and gargling works best dear...Haldi wala dudh or tumeric milk too is good ..
Try taking soups with lots of pepper..tc

Hi dear..roast besan into desi ghee . When it turns brown . Add milk nd sugar . Make it soup type and take it . Take steam. You will feel better
