Hi friends! Today i share Kids lunch-box recipe. These recipes are easy to make and love by kids.

Pasta rice in microwave


2 cups long grained rice (basmati)

1 cup pasta ( fussilli , conchiglie or any smaller types)

1 chopped onion

1 chopped tomato

4 chopped green chillies

1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)

4 tbsp curry sauce (if available)

ingredients of curry sauce

1 tsp curry powder

1 tsp coriander (dhania) powder

salt to taste

butter or ghee

chopped french beans

chopped capsicum

fresh or frozen green peas

potato cubes

chopped cabbage

use a combination of vegetables of your choice


Wash the vegetables

Wash rice

Soak rice for 10 minutes

. Drain the water and transfer into a microwave bowl

. Add pasta

. Add the other ingredients such as the spices and the washed vegetables

Add butter or ghee

. Add the salt to taste

Measure 4 to 5 cups of water and add it to the rice vegetable mixture to be cooked

Cover and cook in the microwave for 25 minutes

Check in between and give a good stir.

Serve hot with onion, cucumber raita
