Ingredients
2 cups long grained rice (basmati)
1 cup pasta ( fussilli , conchiglie or any smaller types)
1 chopped onion
1 chopped tomato
4 chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
4 tbsp curry sauce (if available)
ingredients of curry sauce
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
salt to taste
butter or ghee
chopped french beans
chopped capsicum
fresh or frozen green peas
potato cubes
chopped cabbage
use a combination of vegetables of your choice
Method
1. Wash the vegetables
2. Wash rice
3. Soak rice for 10 minutes
4. Drain the water and transfer into a microwave bowl
5. Add pasta
6. Add the other ingredients such as the spices and the washed vegetables
7. Add butter or ghee
8. Add the salt to taste
9. Measure 4 to 5 cups of water and add it to the rice vegetable mixture to be cooked
10. Cover and cook in the microwave for 25 minutes
11. Check in between and give a good stir.
12. Serve hot with onion, cucumber raita माँ : आज तू आगन बाड़ी क्यों
