I am a mother of two beautiful daughter's. So I have two stories to share.
My first pregnancy journey started 9 years back. At that time I wish there is any helping online group like Babychakra. With my limited knowledge I completed my term at 38th week I had emergency lacs. A very little I know about breast feeding and handling baby. Since it's c section i was under lot of pain. So initially they gave FM to baby and after that started my struggle, baby Is latching but I am not having milk and don't know how to hold baby in proper position so that she can latch. I was so scared to handle her as for the first time I was holding newborn. On top mil scaring me hold properly otherwise will break her bone, u may block her nose while feeding. I asked nurses to support but they did once or twice then they started ignoring. At that time I don't know about breastpump and tried to express from hand. But no luck, milk is cmng in drops. Baby use to cry a lot out of hungry. Then baby got jaundice. When I went to hospital for treatment my mil use to tell everyone she doesn't know to feed, no milk is cmng. It was humiliating. Instead of supporting I get teasing. Jaundice got cured. This continued 10 days. Then I decided will go to another peadiatrician as early one is male. Then new pead helped me in knowing feeding positions and holding baby without fear. Then slowly milk started coming and baby stopped crying. After that I fed breast milk for her till one and half year.
So I request mom's don't loose hope breast is best try to feed. And also others instead of helping if they say she doesn't know how to feed or she doesn't have milk to feed it's very heart breaking. They are already suffering by not able to feed in top they need assistance, assurance not complaint.
In my second pregnancy thank god I had this Babychakra app and god sent angel's mom's group who helped me a lot by answering my questions .
First two days r bit difficult as it's c section and I was under lot of pain. Then also I tried feeding and my second daughter is also a sweetheart as she latched properly. From experience of first pregnancy I hold her and fed her properly.
Thank u so much momies for making my journey smooth..
