Green masala Chicken korma


Chicken 1/2kg

Onions sliced big 1

Tomatoes 1 big finely chopped

Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp

Curd 2tbsp

Haldi 1/2tsp

salt to taste

Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch

Green chilli 5-6

Mint leaves

Spice powder grind to fine powder

Coriander seeds 1tbsp

Jeera 1tsp

Cloves 2

Peppercorns 8-10

Small sticks of cinnamon 1

Cashew nuts 10


👉Mix chicken with curd ginger garlic paste haldi salt mix well till all ingredients are well combined marinate for 1hr

👉Dry roast coriander seeds jeera cloves cinnamons peppercorns; for just a 2 min on med heat till aroma comes.add cashew nuts roast for 1min don't burn Then remove from heat cool completely and grind into very fine powder

👉grind coriander leaves and green chillies with little water to fine paste

👉Heat oil fry sliced onions till turn pink then add tomatoes;cook till soft.

👉then add the marinated chicken mix well; cover and cook on high flame for 5 min.

👉After 5 min add green masala paste cook till oil seperate and becomes dry

👉add spice powder mix well cook for 5 min on med heat stir continuously

Mix well add water bring to a boil cover and simmer and cook till chicken is tender

👉Then open and check if consistency is too thick add little water 1/2cup and boil once then remove from heat

If you want you can keep thick

👉garnish with coriander leaves and mint leaves

👉Serve hot with naan or rice
