While having a child is mostly a choice, the way your child turns out is a combination of choices and circumstances. Also not to forget, individual traits. 
When we talk about parenting,one thing we ignore is how we are still caught up in the shackles of perceptions and notions. 
Interestingly, the idea of introvert and extrovert children is something I feel we need to talk more about. 
Extroverts is the more glamed up category. However, the way we think about introverts is the way we have tuned our thoughts. Introverts are not the silent sufferers or those who can't take a stand. It's time we erase these associations with an introvert child. Let's see the introvert child as the gem that needs chiselling just a little more. Let's look at introverts as if they aren't some kind of sympathy mongers. 
Now that never means we compare them with extroverts or vice versa.
