For this particular Mug idli, I chose Quaker Nutri Idli . I made the idli batter as per the instructions. Add finely chopped vegetables like carrots and green beans. Grease the cup with oil thoroughly. Put 2 tablespoons of this batter in a microwave safe cup. Put the cup in microwave for two minutes. Check the idli by inserting a toothpick. The idli is ready when the toothpick comes out clean.
Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan. Add a few mustard seeds, put 2-3 karri patta leaves, a pinch if gun powder. Turn off heat just when the spices start spluttering. Put this garnishing on top of the idli in the Mug.
