3 weeks have passed after c section and I still feel pain in lowe - Health and Fitness

3 weeks have passed after c section and I still feel pain in lower abdomen above the stitches when I walk for a while and; sit for long. From outer side, stitches are healed. Is this pain of internal wounds ? Is this normal ? By when this pain will go ? Pain in legs and feet is also very severe.

Hi aditi internal stitches do hurt off and on for quite a while. But not severely. Just follow what dr shilpitha has suggested. Tc

Thanks doctor. If I take rest and keep lying in bed, then I don't feel any pain. But, when I walk for a while inside home only, I feel mild pain.

Are you sure there is severe pain?? Because mostly, patients are relieved after ten days.. and we encourage them to do some movements like standing walking inside home itself.. if it is severe pain, ypu need to talk with your doctor.. dont neglect.. and also go for thorough local examination to check infection over wound..
