Cervix dilation is usually checked when one gets labour pain but if u are already in your 39th week, have a word wit your gyn.

My internal checkup to check cervix dilation was done on the day I started having labor pains, it wasn't done before that. Perhaps on your last gyn visit it would be done.

In case of labor or next time u go try ll check...

When is your visit due? If you go into labour before that then she will check the cervix dilation.
