#4monthold#sleepingposition#sleepingontummy Hello ladies! My baby always sleeps on his stomach. Even if I put him to sleep on his back, he rolls over. If I try to restrict by placing pillows on both sides, he starts to cry. I've read about SIDS so I'm much worried. Pls tell whether it's really so serious if he sleeps on tummy. How to change this habit ? Awaiting for your suggestions

Hai Subha... it's fine to sleep on his stomach. Just imagine all these days he was just sleeping in one position and now he know how to roll... he will do so. Let him enjoy his sleep. Make sure nothing hard things are around him when he roll. Keep an eye over him..as kids roll to the end of the cot. Keep watching..that his nose is not obstructed by any cloth or toy for breathing. sometimes babies can again roll back to normal. If he have slept long enough on tummy..slowly roll him back. Many more sleeping position yet to discover by your lil adventurer. SIDS are more apt for abroad.. wherein we can't keep our kid in same room where we sleep.
