The first five months of both my pregnancies were absolutely terrible as I had a condition called hyperemesis gravidarum (extreme form of nausea and vomiting of pregnancy, where no medications worked, requiring IV fluids). Both babies were delivered at 38 weeks by c-section due to medical reasons. Here's what i suggest for expecting moms-
-- Having information is vital!
Read books, see videos, ask questions and learn-- about how your body changes, baby grows, labor, delivery etc Dont Google too much! You have Babychakra for all your queries! --Be prepared- you will be at ease if you know whats going on right!!
Plus you wont be confused with all the free advice relatives and friends will give you!! --Eat a healthy diet from the start, be physically active, be up-to-date with your tests. -- Be pro-active!
A little bit of pampering is fine but if your health is ok, dont be a burden/headache to someone while you are pregnant.
(I know of someone who demanded VIP parking access that too free of charge just because she was expecting;
another one would ask her husband to carry her purse!) Lets Share who pampered you and how during your pregnancy!!
Also did anyone keep a pregnancy journal or do a photo shoot??
Did you go on a babymoon?
I went to Goa for my second one !

I was very active in both my pregnancies, riding 2 Wheeler till 8 months both times (for short distances), dogs at from my work i helped my in-laws n parents with their chores. Glad everything went well. :)
