A shorter and less painful labor and birth is what we are all hoping for Right ?
Here are some things that you could do to prepare for labor and birth.
1. Eat healthy. If your body is nutritionally sound then it can handle labor much better.
2. Exercise. Thirty minutes of exercise every day can really help in preparing your muscles for the birth process.
3. Breathing. Practice your labor breathing exercises every day. These will not only help in pain management during labor but will also provide oxygen to your baby.
4. Fetal position. Baby needs to be in the right position for birth. Some exercises during pregnancy can help get the baby aligned on the birth canal prior to the onset of labor making birth easier and quicker.
5. Positivity. Keep your mind positive and believe in the power of your body to birth.
